Leatrice “Elle” McKinney, writing as L.L. McKinney, is an advocate for equality and inclusion in publishing. A gamer, Blerd, adamant Hei Hei stan, and Gryffindor with Slytherin tendencies, her works include the critically acclaimed Nightmare-Verse books, starting with the A BLADE SO BLACK trilogy, and other titles that can be found on her website.


Lana Wood Johnson
Lana Wood Johnson was born and raised in Iowa in the time before the internet but has spent the rest of her life making up for that. After years working in wireless communication for companies of all sizes, she now works doing the same for a local youth shelter. Lana lives in Minnesota with her husband and their English bulldog. TECHNICALLY, YOU STARTED IT was released in 2019 and SPEAK FOR YOURSELF comes out Summer 2021 from Scholastic.

Laura Pohl is a Brazilian YA author. She likes writing messages in caps lock, quoting Hamilton and obsessing about Star Wars. When not taking pictures of her dog, she can be found curled up with a fantasy or science-fiction book. She makes her home in São Paulo, where she graduated in Literature.
